Group Practice Network was created to help Canadian therapists know that they aren’t alone in this grand adventure. We also provide tools, resources and connection to help you show up as an empowered leader for your team and your business.

How I Discovered My Blended Love for Therapy and Entrepreneurship

As a psychotherapist, I've built not one, but two thriving group practices in British Columbia with the second practice having expanded to two locations in the Lower Mainland of BC in less than four years. Each step of my journey has been a combination of excitement, challenges, and invaluable learning.

Along with my co-founder, my first group practice grew from zero to 3 associates and 15 subleasors in under a year.

My second group practice, Panorama Wellness, grew to over 20 counsellors, a holistic nutritionist, acupuncturist and massage therapist as well as an administrative team across Langley and Surrey locations in under four years before consolidating to a primary Surrey location.

It’s been a steep learning curve, but through it all, I discovered my passion for blending therapy and entrepreneurship. There’s something exhilarating about watching a carefully crafted business blueprint come to life. Seeing a team of therapists deliver exceptional care to our community and bring my original vision I had “way back when” to fruition is incredibly fulfilling.

I have created several paths for Canadian group practice and clinic owners, depending on where you are in your journey:
The Group Practice Launchpad is a self-paced program for therapists ready to transition from private practice to a group practice. Work through the curriculum on your own schedule with weekly office hours and direct support.
The Group Practice Connection is a membership community for established group practice and clinic owners who already have a team. Three monthly calls, an active peer community, and ongoing access to resources and templates.
The Numbers Room is a twelve-month financial mastermind for group practice owners ready to build real confidence with their numbers. Small cohorts, monthly sessions, Canadian-specific guidance throughout.
Individual coaching is also available for owners who want personalized one-on-one support. We can start with a Strategy Session or work together through a longer package.

I have a bunch of kids and three grandchildren! One of my favourite pastimes (and love languages) is to hang out with any or all of them.
I would say that summer is my favourite season because I don’t have to put on socks and shoes or wear a jacket to go outside!
