Group Practice Network
Our Mission, Vision and Values
Why Does Group Practice Network Exist?
I started this work because I saw how isolating and overwhelming group practice ownership can feel. When you step into private practice, your world gets smaller. When you step into group practice ownership, it can feel even smaller.
I wanted to change that.
I wanted Canadian group practice owners to have access to real, practical resources, connection with peers, and the support to lead well. I’ve always loved creating spaces—like retreats and workshops—where people feel seen, supported, and inspired. My goal is to make sure group practice owners don’t have to struggle alone, and that they have what they need to build businesses that serve both their clients and their own lives.
At the heart of it: I believe strong leadership and effective systems create thriving practices, healthy communities, and more freedom for the people who lead them.
My Vision for Canadian Group Practice Owners
I envision a community where Canadian therapists have the resources, guidance, and support to:
confidently start private practice,
grow into group practice ownership, and
expand their business in a way that fits their vision, personality, and financial goals.
This is a place where group practice owners don’t have to reinvent the wheel. Instead, they find connection, real talk, and practical support—through workshops, retreats, templates, a podcast, and community.
I see therapists stepping into their role as CEO, building businesses that meet the needs of their communities while also creating financial freedom, relational balance, and fulfillment in their own lives.
The Mission of Group Practice Network
My mission is to help Canadian group practice owners:
avoid the pitfalls I experienced,
start with effective systems,
understand the business side of therapy, and
lead with confidence and clarity.
Through the Group Practice Network, I provide practical tools, quality learning experiences, and spaces for connection so practice owners can build sustainable, thriving practices—on their own terms.
Group Practice Network Core Values
Authenticity
I want to show up consistently no matter where I am or who I’m with. What you see is what you get. For me, authenticity means keeping it real about the realities of owning a group practice—the challenges, the wins, and everything in between. I’ll be the same whether we’re working one-on-one, in a group, in a teaching space, or sitting beside each other as peers. My goal is to help you grow—from private practice (through Your Practice Your Way) into group practice ownership (through the Group Practice Network)—without sugarcoating or glossing over what it really takes.
Community
Running a group practice can be lonely, but it doesn’t have to be. Knowing you’re not alone in this journey can make all the difference. Connection and support are at the heart of everything I create.
Freedom
I want you to build a business that gives you freedom—freedom of time, freedom in your choices, and freedom to live a life that feels good to you. When your business gives you freedom, your personal life does too.
Leadership
I don’t believe in half-assing your business. Leadership means showing up fully and intentionally—making decisions, setting direction, and creating a company that reflects your values. My work is about helping you build your leadership skills so you can confidently step into your role as CEO.
Systems
If you know me, you know I believe systems are life. Do I follow them 100% perfectly? Nope. But having processes in place makes business easier, clearer, and more sustainable. Systems are what create consistency—whether it’s in how you onboard a new client, support your team, or manage finances. And when your business runs with consistency, people notice. Clients trust you sooner, your team feels more secure, and both are more likely to stay with you longer because they know what to expect. Strong systems don’t just support your day-to-day—they build the foundation for long-term trust, freedom, and growth.
